Come, Holy Spirit, sent to us from heaven a ray of your light.
Come father of the poor, giver of gifts, come, come, light of heart.
perfect comforter, sweet guest of the soul, sweet relief.
In labor, rest, in the heat, shelter, comfort in sorrow.
O most blessed light, fill the interior of the hearts of your faithful.
Without your strength, man is nothing, nothing without guilt.
Wash what is unclean, wet what is arid, heal what is bleeding.
Bend what is stiff, warm what is cold, healthy, what is crooked.
Give your faithful that only you trust in your holy gifts.
Dona virtue and reward, gives holy death, gives eternal joy. Amen.
