A NEW BACK AND A NEW STAGE FOR THE BIRD OF BRONZE

History of Ballet Bronze is dotted with anecdotes almost surreal, extreme and paradoxical situations, special circumstances and events to surprise ... Also this "return", which has some of the ordinary. Back in Italy in May 2003 after our last tour in Mexico and Chile, each of us taken roads musicali diverse, e il gruppo si fermò. Io, naturalmente, mi rituffai nella  mia dimensione solistica, esibendomi da solo con molta
soddisfazione e divertimento. Intanto mi guardavo attorno per scovare due nuovi musicisti per Il Balletto. Nel corso di un anno e mezzo ne ho incontrato o contattato circa centocinquanta, tra bassisti e batteristi, facendo delle selezioni molto lunghe e accurate.

PRIMA FASE: estenuante conversazione telefonica per inquadrare il personaggio
(taluni sono stati scartati già a questo primo livello).

SECONDA FASE: la “Prova Divano”, che non è quello che maliziosamente si potrebbe

third and final phase (accessible only to those who have passed the famous "Try Sofa")
: performance in the rehearsal room of parts from the repertoire of Ballet, plus more to taste. Finally, the formal decision. But here's the surprise: Though among the eighty drummers I have met three or four had all the requirements, in the end I decided to give the "throne" to welcome back Richard Spilli. Spiazzante, no? Riccardo entrò nel Balletto nel 1997 ed è a
tutt’oggi il batterista che è durato di più, persino più dello stesso, ”storico”, Gianchi Stinga. Al basso abbiamo Alberto Bronner: lui sì, autentica “primizia”, amabilissima persona e bravo musicista, emerso da una rosa finale di tre bassisti da circa settanta iniziali. Comunque, con molti dei musicisti esclusi sono rimasto in ottimi rapporti e spero che possano svilupparsi delle belle amicizie. Grazie a tutti!
Il debutto di questa nuova formazione avverrà a Roma il 12 novembre 2004 al
Villaggio Globale, in concerto con gli Ozric Tentacles.

N.B. -Oggi, estate 2006, sia il bassista che il batterista sono cambiati di  nuovo:

           al basso c’è Marco Capozi, alla batteria Adolfo Ramundo.
