Come prima lezione vi propongo di riflettere su quanto segue:
la nostra cultura è caratterizzata dai seguenti elementi:
- Complessità
- Pluralismo
Essa è condizionata:
- Dall’azione dei maestri del sospetto: Marx, Nietzsche e Freud;
- Dalle cupe previsioni della filosofia, costretta ad avere a che fare sempre più con un materialismo e un pensiero debole dilagante, che favorisce il soggettivismo e il relativismo;
- Dalle cupe previsioni della sociologia che vuol convincere l’uomo contemporaneo della "morte di Dio", dell’"eclissi del sacro", applaudendo alla secolarizzazione galoppante, al processo di massificazione e al tecnicismo che rende l’uomo sempre più gestore di tutto se stesso e della sua storia;
- from the failures of industrial society, which does not seem to have kept its promises because the center as the first essential criterion has not man, the dignity of the human person, but the productivity
- opening the door to manipulation, to 'anguish, incommunicableness, atrophy of the feelings, the ecological degradation and dehumanizing technology,
- from the failures and mistakes of the consumer society, that makes you unhappy and s frustration and need for an inner freedom.
- From the search for freedom in an arbitrary and illusory;
- The logic of pleasure and consumption.
